Collaboration Leads to Success for Avenu Payments in Louisiana

Two of our colleagues from the Audit Team, Christina Villareal and Alex Lake, took the initiative to introduce Avenu Payments to our Louisiana sales tax clients who were not equipped to accept credit card payments. Christina and Alex quickly reached out to our clients and organized a group meeting and demo, which included members of the Sales Team, Amanda Trubacz (subject matter expert who led the demo) and Brandi Sanner.

Approximately 15 of our clients were able to learn about Avenu Payments’ capabilities and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Just a day later, we received our first sale for Avenu Payments! The collector for Lincoln and Union parishes is signing up for Avenu Payments for both parishes that she administers for, and we believe that more clients will follow suit. This achievement highlights the importance of collaboration between our sales team, business units, delivery teams, and CSMs, and the strong relationships we have with our clients.

The team also has two other collectors (Webster and St Mary) that have given the verbal to buy Avenu Payments and Virtual Terminal and have contracts in hand…and many others who have shown interest. We’re proud of Christina, Alex, Amanda & Brandi for their dedication and commitment to serving our clients’ needs. This is a great example of how working together can lead to great achievements.
