The Office of the Register of Deeds for Montmorency County made the move to implement E-Recording to provide numerous advantages to its constituents. The benefits include the exponential speed in processing real estate filings along with receiving funds faster with electronic deposits. The elimination of paper and reduction of foot traffic saves enormous time for everyone involved.

“Today’s constituents expect modern technology to accelerate the flow of information. The Register of Deeds is the Official Constitutional Recording Officer and keeper of the records for all legal documents and instruments pertaining to the transfer and encumbrance of all lands and properties within Montmorency County.
