Please join us in recognizing Randy Spillman for his 40 years of service. Randy began his career in October of 1980 as a programmer and has led many development & support teams. He currently has dual roles of Development Manager for multiple groups within our Finance & Tax Group as well as oversight of our PACE Financial applications support.
Randy is well known for his willingness to assist all who reach out both co-workers & externally with our clients with whom he a trusted advisor. When not working Randy enjoys time with his wife Libby and their family including their seven grandchildren.
We reached out to some of Randy’s team members to share their comments and here’s what they had to say:
“Randy Spillman was my manager at one of Avenu’s predecessor companies, Mentor Information Systems, in the early ‘90s. I moved on to work on other projects, but was fortunate enough to return in 2018 to work with Randy again. Randy is that rare person who has the qualities and characteristics to be an excellent manager, and an excellent software developer. I understand the company at one point looked into cloning him, but the technology just wasn’t there yet, so instead he works many extra hours to do both jobs. He genuinely cares about the employees who report to him. He coaches, teaches, praises, and encourages to get the best out of them. He also sees each of them as a person, not just an employee, and treats them as such. Also, Randy is committed to providing the best software and service to his customers.
