Celebrating 40 Years of Excellence: Mary Thompson & the PH-Doc Team’s Outstanding Contributions to Public Health
We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone achieved by Avenu’s Waite Park team, specifically Mary Thompson and the dedicated members of the PH-Doc team. Recently, Minnesota Counties Computer Cooperative (MnCCC) recognized our team for an incredible 40 years of service with PH‐Doc, a public health documentation system owned by the Community Health Services (CHS) User Group.
Since 1983, the entire PH-Doc team, both past and present, has played an indispensable role in the development and success of the software system. Their hard work, innovation, and commitment have seen the platform grow from just 14 sites to an impressive 38 member counties, cities, and agencies in 2023.
Among the integral team members, Mary Thompson, Lori Lyback, Toni Tibbetts, Tanya Ruth, Brian Prom, Justin Wolbeck, and John Saatzer have been the driving force behind PH‐Doc’s growth. Their expertise and leadership have helped create one of the best user-owned and managed software systems for public health agencies in Minnesota.
MnCCC’s Executive Director, Lisa C. Meredith, has expressed her gratitude, saying, “Because of the fantastic guidance the Avenu team has brought, our group has grown exponentially. MnCCC is grateful to continue a partnership with Avenu in the Community Health Services and PH‐Doc capacities. Please extend our gratitude to the team who works tirelessly to keep things running smoothly.”
The Waite Park team was also honored with an award to display in their office, reflecting the recognition and appreciation for their dedication to PH‐Doc over the years.
We take this moment to congratulate Mary Thompson and the entire PH-Doc team on this extraordinary accomplishment. Your unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence resonate with Avenu’s core values. Here’s to many more years of innovation and success!
