Avenu Underway with Strategic Customer Program

Innovation and technology demands are increasing at a rapid pace for state and local governments. In order to best serve our clients, Avenu has launched a Strategic Customer Program to build long-term mutually beneficial partnerships with key customers.

The program includes hiring a team of Strategic Partner Executives (SPEs) who have careers dedicated to serving the public sector in leadership positions and will work directly alongside clients to gain a deep understanding of their strategic goals. In doing so, SPEs will develop a long-term platform and services roadmap and work with cross-functional teams at Avenu to develop innovative solutions that are in alignment with their strategic goals.

SPE’s will find opportunities to drive value for their partners by identifying challenges, offering creative solutions, and leveraging existing partnerships to move both organizations toward their strategic goals.  In addition, SPEs have proven to be a tremendously valuable resource in working with prospective clients.

Avenu’s team of initial SPEs includes George Gretsas and Reva Feldman.

George Gretsas served as a City Manager in Florida for the last 16 years for the Fort Lauderdale, Homestead and Delray Beach. In this capacity he was responsible for carrying out the policies of the City Council and managing the daily operations with budgets that ranged from $190 – $600 million and staff of 500 – 2,600.

Reva Feldman served as the City Manager for Malibu, California for the last five years and previously served the city for 11 years as the Administrative Services Director and Assistant City Manager. Reva oversaw several high-profile projects during her tenure including growing the city’s General Fund reserves from $7 to 30 million and helping to establish their AA+/AAA bond rating.
