In an effort to streamline processes, Avenu is launching a Deal Support Team to provide deal-related support for Account Executives (AEs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) in North America. his team’s primary focus is to engage with the field and renewal teams to help them better utilize the tools and resources available to move deals through regionally prescribed operational processes covering Quoting, Contracting and Booking. This includes answering “how to” and “where to go” questions, directing AEs on how to troubleshoot system issues, advising AEs on proper escalation paths when other support options have been exhausted, and proactive outreach to prevent deal cycles from getting off track. Matthew Strand, Deal Support Specialist
Matthew Strand resides in Dallas, Texas and brings a wealth of experience in a critical new role we have at Avenu as a Deal Support Specialist which will work with and expedite matters between contracts, sales, and clients. Previously, Matthew served as a deal support specialist then business operations specialist for SAP. He also has experience entering the enterprise software workforce as a small business owner. Matthew is a retired professional athlete, competing as an Alpine Ski Racer for the United States Ski Team and later as a CrossFit Games athlete.
Eric Sloper, Deal Support Specialist
Eric Sloper joins Avenu as a Deal Support Specialist and will be based out of our Centreville, VA office. Previously, Eric worked for SAIC where he was a Business Development Associate and was instrumental in instituting growth opportunities within their Department of Homeland Security account. In his spare time, he enjoys various outdoor activities such as fishing and kayaking as well as playing softball and coaching baseball. Eric is excited to be a part of Avenu and support our growth.
