Avenu Insights & Analytics Makes the GovTech 100 List

Company Recognized for Making a Difference in Communities

CENTREVILLE, VA, January 10, 2019 – For the first time, Avenu Insights & Analytics (Avenu), a Mill Point Capital company, has been listed on the GovTech 100 for helping state and local governments serve their citizens.

Put together by Government Technology magazine, this year’s list “was remarkable for the number of large, significant deals that reshaped the landscape,” according to the publication. Avenu contributed to that deal flow through its acquisition of Conduent’s Local and Municipal Constituent Government Software Solutions. That transaction added to Avenu 3,000 customers in all 50 states and Canada.

“The partnership between public and private sector resources is a great way to achieve what communities need,” says Paul Colangelo, CEO of Avenu. “It’s an honor to be named to the GovTech 100 and to be among the companies noted for mission-oriented innovation.”

Examples of Avenu serving communities include discovering and administering revenue for cities, managing records and information technology functions for counties, and overseeing unclaimed property requirements for states.

In announcing the list of winners, Government Technology stated that “Even with its historical roots, gov tech is just getting started, and with over 90,000 local government agencies alone, there is ample room for companies to work with agencies to catalyze innovation in 2019 and beyond.”
