The City of Palmdale, for which Avenu provides IT managed services, has earned a Quality in IT Practices award from the Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC).  in recognition of its quality information technology practices. Palmdale’s Director of Administrative Services Anne Ambrose and IT Director Stuart Thompson accepted the recognition on behalf of the city from MISAC State President Tim Willamson.

IT governance, security, staffing and application function were some of the categories evaluated for the award.
